In welcome news for our industry, the NSW Government announced last week that unoccupied construction sites across Greater Sydney, including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour, will resume work at 50% capacity and introduced minimum vaccination requirements for workers from the affected local government areas (LGAs).
It’s a challenging time for everyone in Greater Sydney and across NSW, but our team are pleased to be back, doing what they do best – serving you, our customers.
Most Coates branches in Greater Sydney are open and ready to support you and your business. Please call your local branch or check Google for updated opening times.
All other Regional NSW branches will continue to operate as normal, following government guidelines, restrictions and health advice until further notice.
We’re also playing our part to stop the virus spread and protect the health and safety of our communities, our customers and our people.
Our COVIDSafe management plan and business continuity plans are aligned to the enforced NSW Government restrictions and health advice to ensure we continue to operate safely.
We’re also operating in compliance with the NSW Public Health Order for construction with regard to vaccination and testing.
Coates supports the Federal and NSW Governments position regarding vaccination. We understand the decision to get vaccinated or not is a personal choice, however, we have launched an internal Vaccination Recognition Program to keep our team, our industry and our communities safe.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We hope you, your colleagues and your loved ones continue to remain well and take the required precautions to stay safe.
