Mini excavation equipment

Our excavator hire safety & compliance steps
Coates aims to ensure safe working practices are followed when using our equipment. In addition to the safety features included with our scissor lifts, such as secondary guarding systems, safety rails, emergency stop buttons and tilt sensors, we provide detailed safety manuals to help you operate our equipment as safely as possible.
In order to operate a scissor lift with a maximum extended height of over 11 metres, you need to have a valid Elevating Work Platform (EWP) licence. This regulation impacts a number of diesel and electric scissor lifts in the Coates lineup. An EWP licence must be provided when renting these machines.
