About Discharge Hoses

Discharge hoses are flexible conduits which transport liquids from a pump to a discharge area. They are typically made of multiple layers and can be used in combination with high pressure pumps to provide a steady flow of liquids. Discharge pump hoses are available in a variety of materials and lengths to suit the requirements of your worksite and irrigation system.

A discharge hose can be used for dewatering at construction or mine sites; to transfer water in agricultural applications; as a way of deploying water rapidly in firefighting operations and as a way of transferring liquids in water treatment plants.

There are various types of discharge hoses, including:

  • Lay flat hoses: A collapsible type, used for temporary or emergency applications.
  • Water pump hoses: A simpler option designed for domestic or low-pressure applications.
