Spider lifts feature an extending arm and a raising platform, enabling you to reach tall areas such as lighting fixtures and ventilation equipment. With their narrow base and adjustable legs, spider booms can be used outdoors and on uneven terrain, making them well-suited to tree care work and green space maintenance.
Owing to their continuous tracks and high grip levels, spider lifts are particularly effective on steep inclines, slopes, soft ground and uneven terrain. Meanwhile, the low ground pressure of our spider boom lifts makes them ideal for use on indoor concrete surfaces, such as in new construction projects or warehouses.
Spider boom hire is ideal for construction, maintenance and entertainment businesses needing access to tight corners or other confined spaces. Our spider lift hire options provide a safe and efficient solution for restricted access applications. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, our spider booms are popular with painters, signwriters, installation and repair professionals, electricians, plumbers and arborists.
Spider booms feature multiple, flexible articulated arms, allowing for vertical and horizontal reach. The boom is operated from the platform, providing precise control over positioning and making these machines ideal for narrow, hard-to-reach areas.
Spider lifts offer stability and traction on uneven surfaces and rough terrain. Their compact, lightweight design and multi-jointed arms allow for both indoor and outdoor use. Spider booms provide excellent maneuverability in tight spaces, making them a versatile option for various projects and industries.
A High-Risk Work Licence (WP class) is required to operate a spider boom lift with a boom length of 11m or more. For smaller lifts, while a licence isn't required for boom lift hire under 11m, an EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Yellow Card is recommended and you must ensure operators know how to operate the scissor lift safely with the right training, information and instruction.
