Aluminium Vertishores are light enough to be installed by manual handling and can be used for a range of different trench depths and widths. This hydraulic vertical shoring system is especially useful in deep trenches and uses adjustable hydraulic pressure to ensure the trench walls are safely supported. Vertishores are ideal for confined sites with limited access to heavy plant and machinery.

A vertical shore is a hydraulic shoring system designed to support the walls of an excavation or trench. It works by using two vertical aluminium rails connected by a hydraulic cylinder. Once positioned in a trench, the cylinder is manually pressurised using a hydraulic pump to create outward force, holding the soil in place. This fast setup and removal make vertical shores ideal for jobs requiring mobility and speed, such as spot repairs or short utility runs.
Hydraulic vertical shoring, such as Vertishores, is suitable for Type A and Type B soils, which are classified as stable and moderately stable respectively. These cohesive soil types allow the vertical shore to effectively brace trench walls. They are not recommended for use in Type C soils (unstable soils like loose sand or soft clay) where more robust shoring systems are required.
Our aluminium Vertishores are suitable for trenches ranging from 2.4–3 metres deep, depending on soil type and trench width. These vertical shoring systems are designed for quick support in stable soil conditions and are not recommended for deep or highly unstable excavations.
