Crash cushion barrier end treatments are a critical safety device, which minimise the impact of traffic incidents on roadside worksites. Crash cushion attenuators are designed to absorb and disperse the energy generated during a vehicle collision, reducing the impact on drivers, passengers, nearby workers or equipment.
Crash cushions can be utilised in a variety of roadside applications where concrete or steel crash barriers have already been installed, including in highway roadwork zones to protect both crews and vehicles; at highway terminals to reduce the severity of incidents; in urban intersections with temporarily changed traffic conditions; and as a safety measure at toll booths or near bridges.
Our crash cushions have a MASH TL-3 rating. We offer both gated and non-gated crash cushions, as well as installation by accredited ASHTAS installers, to ensure optimal protection for road workers and users.
